Patch 8.3 - Legacy & Fresh Worlds

The Season Vault is now open for Season 7 items, new custom join/leave system, new emojis have been added, and the Overworld, Nether, and End resource worlds have all been reset.

πŸ›οΈ Claim Your Legacy Items

Head to /warp vault to collect your vaulted items from last season. You have 30 days to claim them β€” after that, unclaimed items will be lost.

How it works:

  • πŸ“¦ Visit /warp vault to access your vaulted items.
  • ⏳ You have 30 days from today to claim everything.
  • πŸ”“ Up to 5 items per player, depending on your vault slots.

βš–οΈ Tier Adjustment

As outlined on the wiki and in previous announcements, all vaulted items have been reduced by one tier to preserve the Season 8 economy. This is standard procedure for every season transition.

  • Divine β†’ Legendary
  • Eternal β†’ Divine
  • Ascendant gear β†’ Eternal (+ jobs XP boosters)

Your items are still powerful - especially in the early stages of the season - but balanced to keep progression meaningful for everyone.

πŸ’¬ Unique Join & Leave Messages

We have developed a new network-wide Join & Leave Message system, letting players customize how they appear when entering or leaving the server.

Instead of using the standard message every time, players can now choose from a growing collection of themed message styles through the /cosmetics menu.

Available styles include a mix of fun, seasonal, and themed options such as:
⭐ Star Wars
πŸŽƒ Halloween
β˜€οΈ Summer
πŸŽ„ Christmas
πŸ‘‘ Patron
βš”οΈ Viking, Gladiator, Royal, Chaos, and many more

How it works:
βœ… Pick your preferred message style from the menu
❌ A matching leave message is automatically applied as well
πŸ”„ You can remove your custom style at any time and return to the default message

Most of the message styles are available to Erebus+ players, while some special themed variants are unlocked through seasonal events, limited-time content, or specific ranks such as Patron.

This is a fun new cosmetic system that adds more personality to chat and gives players another way to stand out.

πŸ˜„ New Community Emojis

We have added a fresh batch of new community-requested emojis.

This update brings more fun reaction options to the server, with a mix of cursed, chaotic, cute, and expressive emotes for all the usual MineRaze moments.

🌎 Resource World Reset

All three resource worlds have now been fully wiped and regenerated.

Fresh terrain, new loot, and untouched resources await.

Reset worlds:

  • πŸͺ“ Overworld Resource World
  • πŸ”₯ Nether Resource World
  • 🟣 End Resource World

Now is the perfect time to mine fresh resources, hunt for buried treasure, and explore completely untouched terrain.

πŸ“Œ Changes Since Patch 8.2

Since Patch 8.2, a few additional improvements and balance updates have also gone live. If you missed them, here is a quick recap.

Patch 8.2.1 β€” Quest Pin Display Update

We added a new Quest Pin Display Mode setting.

Most players are completely fine using the default BossBar tracker, but for some setups it could appear cut off or slightly misaligned depending on things like GUI scale, resolution, and font rendering. This was mainly caused by the custom spacing used in the original BossBar version.

To solve that without removing the existing tracker, you can now choose between two display modes:

  • BossBar β€” the original quest pin style
  • Scoreboard β€” a cleaner vanilla sidebar version for players who experience display issues

How it works:

Use one of the following commands:

  • /questtracker display bossbar
  • /questtracker display scoreboard
  • /questtracker display toggle

This is a simple quality-of-life improvement that gives players more control over how their tracked quests are displayed.

Patch 8.2.2 β€” Normal Dungeon Rebalance

Normal Dungeons have been heavily rebalanced to better fit their intended role.

The previous balance was created back when only Normal and Mythic Dungeons existed. Now that Heroic Dungeons are established as the main mid-tier challenge, Normal Dungeons are being pushed into a much more beginner-friendly role.

Balance Changes

  • Normal mob damage reduced by ~70%
  • Normal mob health reduced by ~50%
  • Normal boss damage reduced by ~50%
  • Normal boss health reduced by ~50%

Leif the Explorer Changes

  • Manual activation now only requires 2x Malachite

Rank Access Changes

  • Normal Dungeons can now be accessed starting at the first rank: Drifter

Other Changes

  • Adjusted hostile and passive entity limits so they now properly match what is listed on the wiki

🐾 Patch 8.2.3

Safari Hunting

  • Increased the base drop rate of all Safari Hunting drops by 50%

Geode Mining

  • Added Spawner Fragment to the Miner Merchant
  • New trade added for the Archaeology Mining NPC

Other Changes

  • Added an actionbar reminder when Keep Inventory is inactive
  • Added Calcite to the Gatherer’s Market

Patch 8.2.3 mainly focused on improving Archaeology progression, making some resources easier to access, and adding helpful reminders for newer players.

🏊 Patch 8.2.4

Pond Swimming

  • Added a 30-second preparation window between the event announcement and the start of Pond Swimming

This gives players time to get ready before the game begins instead of having to react instantly.

Easter

  • The final Easter quest now rewards the Easter Hunter title
  • The title has also been granted retroactively to players who had already completed the full Easter questline

Tournaments

  • Added Deepslate to the Mining Tournament pool

Isle of the Dead

  • Mounts are now allowed on the isle
  • Mounts are still not allowed inside the Tomb of Secrets

Store

  • Archaeology Keys are now available on the store again

This patch was mostly focused on event polish, progression rewards, and small improvements to existing systems.

🌿 Patch 8.2.5

New Item

  • Added the new Bloomcaller Staff

The Bloomcaller Staff works similarly to the Sproutstaff, but instead of affecting only a single crop, it triggers growth in a 3x3 area. It is now available for purchase on the store.

Improvements

  • Glass Breaker now works on Amethyst Buds
  • Builder’s Chisel now works on Deepslate Stairs
  • The Sproutstaff is now available at The Utilitarian

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Temple of Anubis mobs not counting toward the Mythic leaderboard
