Patch 8.1 - Spring Update!

Spring has arrived on MineRaze, and with it comes a new Spring Event filled with quests, rewards, collectibles, and limited-time surprises.

This event is available from April 8th to April 29th.

🤝 New Social Actions System

This is a new permanent custom feature we've developed for fun!

A new Social Actions system with commands to use on your friends.

Commands:

• /hug
• /slap
• /highfive
• /boop
• /stab
• /peck
• /forcepush
• /haunt
• /snowball

It will send a message in chat, play a sound and some particles on yourself and the recipient. The /hug also has a leaderboard in the Hall of Fame (and /hug top). You can hug someone once per day to get on the leaderboard. ❤️

🔄 Event Items & Season Vault Update

Let's get into the Events stuff!

Starting with this event, we've simplified how event items work with the Season Vault.

What's changed:

• ⚔️ Event items now use standard tiers — Legendary, Divine, Eternal, etc. — just like any other item on the server.
• 🏷️ Items that are eligible for the Season Vault will now explicitly say so on the item itself.
• ✅ No more guessing what's vaultable — just check the item.
  This should make things much simpler to understand at a glance. If an item says it's vaultable, it is. If it doesn't, it isn't.

🐇 Killer Bunny Invasion

Every four hours, waves of Killer Bunnies overrun the grassy areas around /spawn for 15 minutes. Fight them off and complete the daily quest to earn the event's main currency.

How it works:

• 🗡️ Killer Bunnies spawn around /spawn every 4 hours for 15 minutes.
• 🥚 Defeat 30 Killer Bunnies per day to earn an Easter Egg (daily quest in /quests).
• 🪺 Easter Eggs are account-bound currency for the Easter shop.

Easter Egg Shop

Spend your Easter Eggs at the Easter Shop, where you'll find event tools, keys, furniture, cosmetics, and more.

• 💰 $20k Money Cache — 1 Easter Egg
• 🗝️ Easter Key — 8 Easter Eggs
• ⚔️ Legendary Easter Tools — 14 Easter Eggs

The shop also offers a variety of Spring-themed furniture and cosmetic items to collect.

📜 20 Event Quests

A new event questline has been added, following a village's preparations for a grand spring celebration - from clearing winter debris to building the Easter Nest. Complete all 20 quests in order by gathering and delivering vanilla materials from across the world.

What to expect:

• 🐣 20 Event quests
• 💎 Earn large amounts of Heirloom Currency
• 🗝️ Complete the questline to earn an Easter Crate Key

Total Quest Rewards:

• 💚 14× Malachite
• 🤍 10× Moonstone
• 💜 6× Veiled Crystal
• ❤️ 1× Ruby
• 🗝️ 1× Easter Key

These quests are event-exclusive and will not return once the Easter Event ends.

🔍 Egg Basket Scavenger Hunt

Hidden throughout spawn are 20 Egg Baskets waiting to be discovered. Explore every corner to track them all down.

How it works:

• 🥚 Find all 20 hidden Egg Baskets scattered around /spawn.
• 💰 Each egg you discover rewards $3,000 in-game money.
• 🐤 Find all 20 to earn the Yellow Chick Mount.

This is a one-time challenge that can be completed at any point during the event. Happy hunting!

🎁 Easter Crate

A new Easter Crate has been introduced, packed with event-exclusive rewards inspired by spring, nature, and celebration.

Inside the crate you'll find new Spring-themed weapons and tools and much more.

✨ New Enchant: Easter Eggs!

A seasonal enchantment has been added for the duration of the event.

How it works:

• 🥚 Chance to find Easter Eggs that give in-game money when broken.

This enchant is available by default on the Legendary Easter Pickaxe. You can also enchant it on any pickaxe of choice at the Friendly Bunny at /event.

Other Changes Since Release

Since the Season 8 launch, we’ve also made a number of follow-up improvements, balance adjustments, and bug fixes based on early feedback.

Gameplay Changes

• Automatic dungeon rotation rates have been temporarily adjusted to 75% Normal and 25% Heroic for the next 2 weeks. After that, they will return to the usual 50/50 split.
• Active dungeons now display periodic action bar reminders during the first 3 minutes after opening, making them easier to notice if you miss the initial chat announcement.
• The entry requirement for Heroic Dungeons has been lowered from Godsblood to Agonist.
• Tridents have been disabled in the Pond Swimming event.
• A large batch of missing craftable items has been added to the Crafter job, including Lightning Rod, Cherry and Bamboo blocks, Bamboo Mosaic variants, Red Sandstone and Nether Brick variants, Mud Brick variants, Polished Basalt variants, End Stone Brick Wall, Chiseled Bookshelf, and more.

New Features

• Added new /biome and /lightlevel commands, since Mojang removed this information from F3. These let you check the biome you are standing in and the surrounding light level.

Bug Fixes

• Increased wildlife spawn rate for Safari Hunting
• Fixed Parkour rewards
• Fixed Raw Geodes being rarer than intended. You should now get one roughly every 3,000 stone broken
• Fixed Fishing Tournament progress not counting
• Fixed Electryoen’s Edge
• Fixed player shops charging money incorrectly
• Fixed several spawn NPC issues
